The staff have been following Freds behavior plan as written but it hasnt been effective. After a half hour of staff blocking, Fred is still vigorously attempting to pull his hair out. The programs clinical staff assesses Fred and instructs staff to hold his arms in a DDS approved standing hold. They struggle actively with him for 3 minutes and then release.
